CDS49 is a depot system for Container, Chassis, Tank, Reefer or Trailer Depots, which processes imformation simply and efficiently, even by those with little previous computer experience.

The Ramp49 Maintenance and Repair control system is designed to bolt onto a depot's existing Depot Management system. The features it shares with CDS49 are highlighted below.

Here's a brief list of some of the features included in the CDS49: -

Customer -	CDS49 holds each customer's details including invoice address and preferred invoice format, up to 6 labour rates, M&R tariff and storage and handling rates. For all types and sizes.
Acceptance and release -	CDS49 records acceptance and release instructions, by group or by individual container ID.
Gate Control -	After validating any references quoted, the system accepts Units, included mated and triples, which may arrive by Truck, Rail, Ship or Barge. A similiar system operates for releasing Units. Check digit validation ensures containers cannot be accepted or released in error.
Status control -	The status of each Unit changes depending upon its last event. Customers can add their own special statuses.
Reporting -	Daily movement and stock reporting are to customer wishes. Including 322, ISO Cedex, E-mail, FTP and Fax.
Repair Estimates -	The system has a rapid estimate entry system. Priced and coded automatically, estimates are transmitted to systems including 966, AAR, CEDEX Sterling, Transamerica, IAS, Maersk, OOCL Depot Smart, Flexivan, TIP, and Hapag Lloyds MARS. For truly efficient operation, it links to either Palm PDA or Eagle TouchPC hand held computers
Efficiency -	Estimators no longer need to learn complicated coding systems, or memorise each customer's repair tariff. The hand helds store every customers repair tariff and guidelines. Estimates are downloaded and processed in seconds. Eliminating errors, delays and clerks keying in estimates.
Repair Tariffs -	The system has a powerful tariff system holding each customers repair times and material costs.
Repair Authorisation -	The system checks work authorised agrees with estimates, or falls within pre-set authorisation limits.
Work Instructions -	Work sheets can be printed using a special repairer's tariff. It is possible to have a special arrangement for sub-contractors. The system handles roadability and 'Off depot' repairs.
Repair Invoicing -	The system offers a choice of 8 different repair invoice layouts.
Storage and Handling billing -	CDS49 keeps storage and handling rates for all sizes and types of Units. Including Truck, Rail, Ship and Barge movements. Free days, TEU count and other 'special' storage calculations are handled.
Reports -	The CDS49 produces over 80 programmable reports for gate movement, stock control and repair activities. For those who prefer, data can be linked to Excel spreadsheets.
Connectivity -	The system links automatically with other systems including CEDEX Sterling, Transamerica, IAS, Maersk, OOCL Depot Smart, Flexivan, TIP, AAR, 966 and Hapag Lloyds MARS. In addtion we have links to accounts packages such as Solomon, Quick Books, Peachtree, MYOB and many more.
